Head of Infrastructure


Robert joined MUFG in August 2011 and has over 18 years experience within Structured and Project Finance. During this time he has been responsible for a number of financings including transportation, social and corporate infrastructure, leisure / stadia, waste water schemes and tele-broadcasting. He has experience of senior, junior and mezzanine debt structuring and equity finance.

Prior to joining MUFG Robert had spent three years covering the infrastructure market across the Middle East and North Africa and was based in Dubai working as an Investment Director at the MENA Infrastructure Fund, a US$300m fund investing principal finance across the energy, utilities and transportation sectors.

Robert now heads up the Infrastructure business at MUFG and is responsible for infrastructure financings across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Robert is a career banker of 31 years having also worked for The Royal Bank of Scotland and National Westminster Bank in London, he is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and holds a BSc Honours degree in Financial Services through the University of Manchester - Institute of Science and Technology.
